Xenophon

Xenophon

Ancient Greek historian and writer (c. 430–354 BCE) who documented Socratic teachings.

Xenophon was a student of Socrates and authored the Memorabilia as well as other works that preserved Socratic principles such as enkrateia and sophrosyne. His writings served as an important source of authentic Socratic practice and virtue ethics for the Stoic tradition.
