Prosodosis

Prosodosis

The conscious, reason-guided devotion and surrender of one's will to the cosmic order and the whole.

Prosodosis (Greek: προσόδωσις, from προσ- 'toward' and δίδωμι 'to give') denotes not mere passive acceptance or resignation, but the rational decision to align one's Prohairesis (moral faculty of choice) with the Logos (universal reason) and cosmic necessity. It is an active act of reason that overcomes resistance to the unchangeable while simultaneously enabling full presence of mind in the current moment. Prosodosis embodies the culmination of the Stoic attitude: not to struggle against fate, but to consciously become one with it.
